Pre-Painting Checklist

To ensure a smooth and efficient painting process, please take a few moments to prepare your home by following the steps below.

🎨 Choose Your Colours

Start thinking about the colours you'd like for each area being painted.
Need help deciding? A complimentary colour consultation is included with your accepted quote. Just get in touch to book your session.

🛠 Tool & Material Storage

Please nominate a space—ideally outside—where we can safely store our tools and materials during the job.
- Size required: approx. 1.5m x 1.5m
- Undercover preferred, but not essential
- We’ll cover the area with drop sheets and plastic to keep it clean.

🧒 Pets & Children

For safety, please keep pets and young children out of the work areas during painting.

🌿 Exterior Preparation

- Trim plants and branches at least 1 metre away from all surfaces to be painted.
- Ensure a clear 1 metre access around the building for ladders, scaffolding, and safe movement.

🏡 Interior Preparation

• Remove all fragile, personal, or valuable items (e.g. decorations, electronics) from the work areas.
  - Take down artwork, mirrors, and wall hangings in rooms being painted.
  - Move furniture to the centre of the room, where possible.
  – If you’re unable to move furniture, don’t worry—we’ll assist when we arrive.
